In order to boost the competitive spirit amongst students,Craft Competition was organized for Classes Two to Five on 3rd and 4thOctober ,2019 respectively.The students showed great zeal and enthusiasm
to make attractive and eye-catching decorations out of paper plate,shuttle cock, hangar and socks.
IIT Bombay organized a workshop on 'assembling of Solar Study Lamps' for children aged 11 years and above, on 02nd October,2019
at Indira Gandhi indoor stadium from 9am to 6 pm.
Around 10,000 students participated from over 200 schools of Delhi & NCR region.
MSM participated in this global mega-event with 125 students from classes 6 to 12.
The students got a hands-on experience of assembling a Solar Study Lamp.
Hon'ble education Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar, graced the occasion and appreciated the work of the children towards energy saving & achieving
self-sufficiency.
CLASS: PREP & ONE
English & Hindi Choral Recitation Competition for Classes Prep & One was conducted in School Auditorium on 29th August’19. Children
recited the poems with full enthusiasm and utmost confidence. The judges for the competition were Ms. Sharmila Roy and our Volunteer
Parents Mrs. Gagandeep Arora and Mrs.Meetu Jain. It was well organized and appreciated by everyone.

The Student Council of MSM had the unique privilege of interacting with Rev.
Brother Jerome, ex-Principal of Mount St. Mary’s School and ex-Superior General
of the Patrician Brothers onAugust 20,2019.Brother shared his multifaceted
experiences with the young leaders. He spoke on leadership and the qualities
that are essential to be a good leader. It was a motivating experience which
made each student present to bedetermined, diligent, focused and responsible.
He motivated the students by giving the examples of some great personalities
likeJessie Owens, Jawaharlal Nehru and other great leaders. He congratulated
the council for being badge holders of 2019-20 and wished them good luck for
their future endeavors. Finally, he exhorted the students to keep doing good
work and never let MSM down.
The Desh Bhakti Sangeet Competition held on 2nd August, 2019 provided
the students of classes 2 to 5 showcase their talent and patriotic Fervour.
The judges appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation
and presentation. The results are as follows: Class 2 – 2C Class 3 – 3A
Class 4 – 4C Class 5 –5B.
Art Competition encourages a child’s creativity and showcases their creative skills. It helps children with the development of their motor
skills, language skills ,social skills and decision making. Our little ones showcased their talent on 25thJuly, 2019 as they drew,
sketched and coloured.
Creative minds and talented fingers from classes 2 to 5 showed off their impressive artistic skills on the 13th and 16th August’19.
Paintings and Sketches displayed vibrancy,colours and depth with their aesthetic sense.
A Book exhibition was organized on July 27,2019 for students and their parents. Rev. Bro. Dr.Arockiaraj, our principal, inaugurated
the exhibition which was liked by all the parents and visitors. The children went back with new story books and winsome smiles.
The books were truly windows into their souls.
On the morning of 19t July 2019, the students of class 8-12 of MSM took part in the Jal Shakti Abhiyan competition to spread
awareness about the conservation of water. Our Principal, Rev. Bro. Arockiaraj and the Sr. school coordinator Mr. Geo Mathew
were very appreciative of the student’s effort and encouraged them with praise. The competition included poetry, writing, slogan
writing and poster making. The enthusiasm and the involvement of the students was a pleasure to see with colorful and attractive
posters, catchy slogans and meaning full poems, the competition was a grand success. I thank our principal, Vice principal,
coordinator and teachers for providing us with this opportunity to spread awareness about this blooming crisis.
