PREP ADMISSIONS 2009-2010

General Norms :

1. Both boys and girls are eligible for admission to Prep.

2. Children born between 1st April, 2004 and 31st March 2005 will be eligible for admission to class Prep for the session 2009-2010.

3. Our school is situated on the defence land and according to the lease agreement ( copy attached refer page no. 3 point no. 9) , 70% seats are reserved for the children of the Defence Personnel & children of the civilians residing in the cantonment area.

After considering the defence quota of 70%, rest of the applicants will be awarded admission according to the criteria and point system followed by the school. The criteria that will be followed for the above is enclosed.

4. Registration Forms will be given according to the following schedule :

1st & 2nd December Defence Personnel
3rd December Cantonment Residents
4th December Catholics & Christians
5th December Siblings & Alumni.
6th December General Category

Please note: Parents are advised to follow the above schedule. Forms may be submitted to the school office according to the following schedule between 9 a.m. and 12 noon:

8th December Defence Personnel
10th December Cantonment Residents
11th December Christians & Catholics
12th December Siblings & Alumni.
13th December General Category

5. The following documents are required to be submitted along with the Registration Forms:

i. Two passport size photographs of the child.
ii. Two passport size photographs each of both the parents.
iii. Copy of Date of Birth Certificate of the child from Municipal Corporation for
all categories
iv. Copy of the Baptism Certificate and a letter from the Parish Priest in case of Christian
and Catholic candidates.
iv. Residential Proof : Voter’s I-Card and its photocopy of both parents
v. Occupational Proof of both parents – letter from your employer.
• In case of defence service, a letter from the office where you are serving, with
a mention of the designation of the competent authority signing the letter.

6. Parents will be intimated of dates to come with original documents and get their
documents verified.

7. The list of 85 selected candidates from the Defence Category will be put up on the
notice board on 20th December, 2008. 10 seats will be kept reserved for the
Defence Personnel coming on transfer later. The second list of other categories will be
displayed on the Notice Board on 10th January, 2009.

INFORMATION REGARDING ADMISSION TO CLASS PREP FOR THE SESSION 2009-2010 AS REQUIRED BY THE DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION, DELHI CANTT.

a. Total number of seats in pre-primary class : 135
i. Seats reserved for children of the defence
personnel and residents of the cantonment : 95 (85 seats at the time of admission
and 10 reserved for defence
personnel who come on transfer
later).

Sports

Our school organizes various Inter School Championships for different Sports and Games such as Football, Tennis etc. We have been participating and winning many Inter School Championships organised outside the school.

Cultural Activities

Our students participate in the Inter school Competitions organized by other schools and do exceedingly well. We also participate in the Mental Ability Competitions like NTSE, Mathematic Olympiad, Cyber Olympiad etc.
